The client required the creation of a new full-cycle foundry for the production of cast iron castings with specified quality and productivity parameters.

The project provided for the formation of a technologically balanced structure, taking into account environmental and engineering requirements.

CONTEXT

To design and prepare for the construction of a foundry with a capacity of 55,000 tons of finished cast iron castings per year.

GOAL

SOLUTION

The design solutions provide for the organization of a full technological cycle of waste handling — from receipt and sorting to processing and safe disposal.
Within the framework of the project, basic engineering and design documentation were developed, including the organization of:
water treatment systems
gas cleaning systems
melting area
casting cleaning and fettling area
core making area
molding sand preparation area
pouring and cooling area
raw material preparation area

RESULT

A balanced full-cycle technological scheme has been created

Design documentation for the construction of the foundry complex has been developed
A production capacity of 55,000 tons of castings per year has been ensured
An engineering foundation has been created for the launch of large-scale foundry production with a high degree of technological autonomy, ready for integration into the automotive supply chain and for further increase in production volumes.
