FOR WHOM

The growth in municipal solid waste generation and the need to bring the waste management system in line with modern environmental requirements necessitated the creation of new processing infrastructure.

The existing capacity of sorting and disposal facilities is insufficient to manage the increased volumes of waste.

The project is aimed at establishing a modern waste management system at the municipal and regional levels.

CONTEXT

Creation of an integrated municipal solid waste management infrastructure, including a waste collection and transportation system, a sorting complex, processing lines for recyclable materials, a modern regional landfill for waste disposal, as well as the necessary engineering and transport infrastructure of the complex.

GOAL

SOLUTION

The design solutions provide for the organization of a full technological cycle of waste management — from reception and sorting to processing and safe disposal.

The project includes:

Creation of a sorting line for separating recyclable materials

Integration of production and auxiliary facilities of the complex

Development of logistics schemes for waste transportation, including MRF.

Development of the engineering infrastructure of the complex

Construction of a regional landfill with modern environmental protection systems

Design and construction of a municipal solid waste processing complex

RESULT

Environmental safety of the region is improved

Capacities for sorting and recycling of secondary resources are being created

The volume of waste subject to landfill disposal is reduced

A modern infrastructure for municipal solid waste processing is being developed

The project forms the foundation for the region’s transition to a modern waste management system, ensuring environmental sustainability and improving the efficiency of secondary resource utilization.

The creation of the complex will make it possible to significantly reduce the environmental burden, with the subsequent return of SRM into the economy.
